What is an E-Invoice?
An e‒invoice is a digital invoice that is created, transmitted, and received in a structured format. This specific structure allows for automated electronic processing without any media disruption.
In contrast, invoices in other electronic formats or on paper do not qualify as e‒invoices. Notably, a PDF invoice sent via email is not considered an e‒invoice under the current legal standards.
